Net porosity
Use the Net Porosity form (model > Maps & Reports) to create a 2D grid map of the average net porosity of the selected subzones.
- Select a grid the property is mapped to.
- On the Zone Selection tab, select the Zones and appropriate Subzones.
- On the Properties tab, select the properties that are required to calculate the net porosity map, Ntg and Porosity.
- To execute the mapping process and close the form, click OK. If not already created, a map item named after the zone you specified in step 2 is created in the Data > Maps folder. Inside this map item you will find the Net Porosity property that was created, and can visualize it in the 3D View and the CoView.
A net porosity map with a 2D grid object is created in the JewelExplorer in the Data folder.

Select Subzones Select the subzone(s) that the property is mapped to. You must select at least one subzone to run the mapping process.
